ST JAGO HIGH SCHOOL SIXTH FORM APPLICATION PROCESS 2026

1. Applications FOR ALL STUDENTS open on Monday, July 1, 2026.
2. NON ST JAGO Students can access the application using the website: stjago.edu.jm/application
3. ST. JAGO STUDENTS must access the application using their student portal. ***
4. Online applications close Wednesday, August 19, 2026. NO NEW APPLICATIONS WILL BE FACILITATED AFTER THIS DATE.
5. Each student must hand in a hard copy of their results on submission of their application form. This copy must be stamped and signed by school officials as a certified copy of the student’s results.
6. A copy of the official CXC results document must be handed in on acceptance.
7. Medical forms will be available on the website. EACH STUDENT MUST SUBMIT A COMPLETED MEDICAL FORM BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO START SCHOOL.
8. Complete payment of all fees is required BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO START SCHOOL.

NON–ST. JAGO APPLICANTS ONLY

1. A completed personality ratings form must be submitted with the completed application form. This is obtained when the application is started.
2. Each student must submit their original birth certificate and a certified copy. The original will be returned immediately. 
3. Each student must submit TWO recommendations. ONE recommendation must be from the principal of your last school. A Minister of Religion, Justice of the Peace or other Notary Public may provide a recommendation. 
4. Two certified passport size photographs (taken within the last six months).
5.  A certified copy of the last school report.

 

SCHEDULE FOR NEW SIXTH FORM STUDENTS

Post shortlist of accepted applicants	Monday, August 24, 2026.
Interviews for selected applicants	Wednesday, August 26, 2026.
Deadline to accept the offer of a place in Sixth Form, submit medical and fee payment.	Friday, August 28, 2026.
Orientation meeting with new students and parents. Distribution of package. O. R. Bell Auditorium, Ravensworth.	Friday, August 28, 2026 3 pm
School fee voucher must be paid online, and proof of payment (screenshot of transaction or receipt) uploaded	Friday, August 28, 2026.
Classes begin for all new students	Monday, September 7, 2026.
Submission of completed registration documents to Form Teacher	Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Taking of student ID photographs	Thursday, September 17, 2026.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE STUDENT IS ALLOWED TO START SCHOOL.  

Ready made uniforms will be made available for purchase from the stationary office. Uniform material is also available from the stationary office.

 

SCHEDULE FOR RETURNING SIXTH FORM STUDENTS

Orientation for returning sixth formers O. R. Bell Auditorium, Ravensworth. 7:40 am.	Friday, September 4, 2026.
Classes begin for students	Tuesday, September 9, 2026.

ALL FEES MUST BE PAID BEFORE THE STUDENT IS ALLOWED TO START SCHOOL. 

 

FEES 

School contribution, P.T.A. and 6B package fee MUST be paid before the package can be collected and before starting school. Proof of payment must be presented at 1:00 pm on Friday, August 28, 2026.

School contribution:  6A - $50,000.00

School contribution:  6B - $45,000.00

P.T.A. - $4,000.00

6B Package / Commitment Fee- $6,000.00.
